During workshop registration we process your personal data in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Data processing is necessary for organizing, preparing and conducting workshops, particularly to manage participants, to create workshop documents, to allow communication with participants and to receive and review workshop contributions. Personal data subject to statutory retention obligations is processed in accordance with Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. Voluntary information, based on your consent, is processed in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Data you enter in workshop registration forms will be stored in an internal database to be managed and processed by the workshop organization team. Mandatory information is marked accordingly and is necessary to process your registration.

Should mandatory information be false or incomplete, workshop participation is not possible. Personal data is being deleted when no longer necessary for conducting a workshop, within 3 months after the workshop ended. If necessary, data used for financial processes may be stored longer to allow later requests or additional charges. Statutory retention periods generally range from six to ten years. Information concerning talks and posters as well as name and institution of the authors, including title and abstract (where applicable), will be published in the book of abstracts and on the webpage of the workshop. Moreover, the contact details of all participants, including email addresses, will be made available in the printed version of the book of abstracts.
